Aberforth, Runes, and Ravenclaw

Last night I started reading a chapter called "The Last Hiding Place". I loved it because we got to meet Aberforth, Albus Dumbledore's brother. In Deathly Hallows, we find out a bit more about the Dumbledore family's backstory. We find out that Albus and Aberforth had a sister, Ariana. Everybody belives that she was a Squib and that her parents hid her because they were ashamed of her. But, as we find out, she is not a Squib, and the reason why she was kept away was because she has been in very poor heath since birth. Some characters argue that she never recived her Hogwarts letter, and therefore, she is a Squib. Albus later reveals that she was never accepted into Hogwarts because she, again, is in very poor heath. She indeed has magical powers because 3 Muggle boys saw her using magic (which was uncontrolable at the time, because she was only 7). The Muggle boys tauted her and tried to make her do the trick again. This experience ruined her magical life. Since she never went to school, she became dangorus. She had strange magical outbursts when she was angry or sad. This lead to the result of imprisoning and left her in personal anguish.

Meanwhile, Harry, Ron, and Hermione are hunting down Voldemort's Horcruxes. They have destroyed the Locket of Slytherin. They expect another Horcrux to be one of Rowena Ravenclaw's. One possible item could be The Lost Diedum of Ravenclaw, a crown that if you wear it, you will become wiser than before. They go looking for it, and Professer McGonagall said that no one has seen this item in living memory. Before the Battle of Hogwarts, Harry meets with the Grey Lady, the Ravenclaw ghost. She reveals that she was the daughter of Rowena Ravenclaw. She said she was the one who hid the Diedum, so she could someday be cleverer than her mother. She told Harry where it was hidden, which takes him to the Room of Hidden Things, a place that Voldemort thought he only knew about. There, Harry has a confrontation with Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle. As he was searching for the crown, Draco creates cursed fire, which is one of the few substances that can destroy Horcruxes. So, unbeknowest to Draco, he destroyed one of his master's fragement of soul.
